Sherwood Wang is a registered architect working in Phoenix, Arizona. He began his education at the University of Arizona and continued his studies at the Architectural Association in London. After working within the Phoenix area for 10 years, Sherwood created Pattern Design Studio in the summer of 2018. His love of architecture and design also extends to building and prototyping. Often, furniture prototypes inform his architectural designs and vise versa. Methods of fabrication and digital prototyping are of particular interest to him, utilizing new tools for more complex design problems.

Sherwood has worked on a wide range of projects over the past decade. He has worked on an interior conversion of a classic VW bus up to the master plan and construction of several buildings on a large institutional campus. Sherwood has worked and continues to work with leading designers in the area to help fulfill their design intent with architecturally complex projects.
